The Bozeman Area

Bozeman is an historic and beautiful college town surrounded by four mountain ranges, blue ribbon rivers and thousands of acres of National Forest. Yellowstone National Park is less than 100 miles away. There is world class skiing at Big Sky Resort and the local favorite Bridger Bowl - just over the mountain from the NCC grounds.

Fall is a wonderful time to be in Bozeman. The summer crowds are gone, the aspen are golden and the mountains are stunning with a fresh coat of snow. You won't have to go far to enjoy the views as the grounds are in one of the areas most beautiful locations. The local cranes will probably have left for the season but there is plenty of other wildlife and elk, deer and bear are common.
